Antigua’s Yacht Services: Professional Support and Concierge Amenities

Jane’s Yacht Services in Antigua

Antigua’s yachting momentum has been building for decades. It is home to one of the most prestigious regattas in the Caribbean and is a popular destination for both private and charter yachts.

It also has a large number of marinas and anchorages, all backed by a comprehensive yacht services scene.

Located in English Harbour

The beautiful deep and wide English Harbour is the central hub of Antigua. It is home to the famous Antigua Sailing Week regatta which attracts thousands of visiting yachts and sailors every April.

The harbor entrance is clear of shoals and reefs with average depths between 13 and 24 feet. The entry channel is well marked with lighted range marks and the only obstacle to approach is a small reef that extends northwest from Charlotte Point, which is to starboard on entering.

Nelsons Dockyard and Antigua Slipway are side-by-side across the harbor, offering 30-plus stern too dockage and amenities ashore including water, cable TV and Internet. Both facilities also specialize in hard repairs, although Nelsons is a bit fancier and offers crew changes and concierge services. Both are located on Antigua Avenue, one block up from Dockyard Drive. A chandlery is also onsite that specializes in hard to find parts. Propane refills are available Tue/Thurs 10am.
